This statement said by Sant Ravidas Ji is one of the most popular. This means that if the mind is pure and those who, while doing their work, are engrossed in the devotion of God, there is no greater pilgrimage for them.
"रविदास जन्म के कारनै, होत न कोउ नीच।
नकर कूं नीच करि डारी है, ओछे करम की कीच।।"
It means that a person becomes small or big not because of his birth but because of his karma. It is the actions of a person that make him high or low. Sant Ravidas Ji used to teach everyone to live in an equal spirit.
