Jasdeep Singh Gill, popularly known as Jassi Gill, is an Indian Singer and Actor of Punjabi origin. He belongs to a Sikh family and had no inclination towards becoming a singer. He was trained and pushed by his family for youth festivals where he came second 4 times in a row. 

Jassi Gill made his debut as a Singer with the album Batchmate, and his track "Churiyan" was a super hit. In 2012 he released the single "Vigre Sharabi"which expanded his image with the youth and in January 2013 he released his second album Batchmate 2 which went on to become an even bigger hit than the previous album and his song Lancer became one of the biggest hits of the year. His track "Classmate" featured in the popular movie Daddy Cool Munde Fool. In 2014 he made his debut as an actor in Punjabi Cinema with three movies, a first for any actor and because of that, today, he is regarded as one of the most versatile Artist in the Punjabi Industry.
